What does your heart say? You know this just made me recall a scene from a movie- the one that Warren Beatty and Natalie Wood made together. The title of it was Splendor in the Grass. At the end of the movie she asks him if he\’s happy after they have spent a good part of their young lives trying to disentangle themselves from all the bad choices they made early on. He answers, "I\’ve stopped asking myself that question."
It\’s the saddest line in a movie I think I\’ve ever heard.
Don\’t stop asking yourself that question but don\’t force the issue. If you can honestly say that you\’re not then try to find out why. Here I will repeat my constant "preachy" quote and it\’s one of my own.
" People are about as happy as they make up their minds to be."
